Although we’re delighted with the campaign’s achievements, it’s essential to keep ESOL at the top of the agenda as the government will soon start considering funding for the next academic year.
These are some of the things that you can do:
- Contact your MP, let them know what has happened and ask for their continued support.
You can find you local MP here: http://www.writetothem.com/ - Link up with any local migrant / refugee / community based organisations - organise a local meeting!
- Tell other students in your class about what the campaign has achieved
- Join the AfE facebook group and invite your friends!
- Contact the Principals of your local Colleges and ask them to continue to support the campaign and to speak to the Government directly and through the Association of Colleges
